LabVIEW^TM Demonstration Made Easy using DT500

In addition to the DT800 demonstration, we have added an easy to use demonstrator program for the DT500 using LabVIEW in a typical application.

Demo DT500 SSP Program
The new demonstration program has been created to demonstrate a typical application that may be developed combining dataTaker data loggers with the LabVIEW development environment.

It also allows users and distributors to easily demonstrate the dataTaker data loggers using an executable program in the LabVIEW environment.


Some of the features we highlight with this demonstration program are:
Custom Graphical User Interface (GUI)
The presentation of data, graphics and mimics can be to end user specifications.

User Controls
Both automatic and manual control of dataTaker outputs and settings can beprovided. Examples are the boolean counter including control of DT500 outputs and the pulse rate output.

Statistical Analysis
The wind rose is a good data reduction example utilising the built in statistical functions of the dataTaker data logger and the presentation
features of LabVIEW. Alarms, scaling, polynomials, averages and histograms are all used.

Communications
In this example available communications ports and the DT500 link are tested, allowing a simple interface for the end user.
