'Demo DT800 SSP' Program

The new demonstration program has been created to demonstrate a typical application that may be developed combining dataTaker DT800 data logger with the LabVIEW™ development environment. The program uses the DT800 Sensor Simulation Panel.
It also allows users and distributors to easily demonstrate the dataTaker DT800 data logger using an executable program in the LabVIEW environment.

Some of the features highlighted with this demonstration program are:
           
Custom Graphical User Interface (GUI)
The presentation of data, graphics and mimics can be to end user specifications.

User Controls
Both automatic and manual control of the dataTaker data logger outputs and settings can be provided.  Examples are the boolean counter including control of DT800 outputs and the pulse rate output.

Statistical Analysis
The wind rose is a good data reduction example utilising the built in statistical functions of the dataTaker data logger and the presentation features of LabVIEW. Alarms, scaling, polynomials, averages and histograms are all used.

Communications
In this example available communications ports and the DT800 link are tested, allowing a simple interface for the end user.
